….’He’s a humanitarian, philanthropist’ – Resident
As part of the effort to complement the good effort of the present government, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) House of Representatives candidate for Ogbomoso North, South, and Oriire Federal Constituency, Hon. Olufemi Oladokun Onireti has, on Monday, commenced the rehabilitation of the road in Adiatu area, Ogbomoso.
Onireti had, last week, promised to ensure the rehabilitation of the road would begin yesterday (Monday), which eventually saw the light of the day.
In his brief remark during the inspection of work, he said: “I feel fulfilled today because, last Friday, I made a promise to rehabilitate this deplorable road and, to the glory of God, work has started today.
“I appeal to all residents and road users to show maximum understanding and cooperation as the rehabilitation of the road will take some few days before it will be open for use.”
One of the residents in the community, Dr. Olatorera, who spoke on the development, showered encomium, describing Onireti as a God-sent to the xommunity.
In his words: “I was shocked when I saw that the rehabilitation of this road who has been in a bad state for many years will be done by Onireti. This shows that he is truly a God-sent to the community and Ogbomoso at large. We can not thank him enough for this gesture.”
The Chairman for Ogbomoso North People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Hon. George Ogunlade, who also joined Onireti to inspect the rehabilitation work, commended the financier of the project.
He said “Hon. Onireti has been known to be a Humanitarian and Philanthropist, who has done a lot of life-impacting projects in Ogbomoso. He has once again shown us that he will be a good Federal Representative and the pointer to this fact is what we are witnessing today.
“No doubt, after the completion of this project, the traffic congestion inward and outward of Ogbomoso will reduce as this road links to a major road.”
