The Deputy Governor of Oyo State Barrister Bayo Lawal has felicitated with the governor of Oyo state Engr. (Dr) Seyi Makinde on his 55th birthday anniversary.
Lawal in a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on media Omolere Omoetan, on Saturday, prayed to God to grant Makinde many more years in good health and vigour.
The statement reads in part “I, on behalf of my family felicitate an uncommon leader on the occasion of his 55th birthday. Your Excellency ,your service to humanity is indeed exceptional.
“Your love for Oyo state is exemplary as demonstrated in the various developmental projects executed through out the state. You are truly an inspirational leader, working with you as a Co-Pilot of the Pacesetter state has been remarkable, and an experience I will continue to relish. I wish you a happy 55th birthday and many more blissful years ahead” the statement noted.
Lawal also described Makinde as a leader who has brought prosperity and progress to Oyo state, whose first term achievements will be difficult to surpass, maintaining that “through selflessness and dedication to the service of humanity, Makinde has positively affected the economical and infrastructural well being of the state.”
The statement further indicated Lawal as stating that “this birthday has come at a time the governor is seeking to offer himself again to serve our people, I enjoin all residents of Oyo state to reciprocate his outstanding performance by again voting en mass for the re-election of Governor Seyi Makinde.
Lastly Lawal noted “I pray that God Almighty grant him many more years, good health and renewed vigour, as he gets set to offer himself again to the service of our state. I wish my Principal a most memorable 55th birthday celebrations.”
