Media Team of the Oyo State Pacesetter Transport Services (PTS) has expressed deep sadness upon hearing the news of the passing of Pa (Dr.) Salami Liadi Olagoke, the father of Hon Dr. Ibraheem Oladeji Salami (DIKKO), the Chairman and Sole Administrator of Oyo State Pacesetter Transport Services (PTS).
The deceasad passed away on Monday, September 4th, and was laid to rest on Tuesday, September 5th, 2023, in accordance with Islamic rites.
A condolence message by the Coordinator of the team, Comrade Moyosoreoluwa Olamilekan Eldreez, indicated that the media team sympathise with the family of PTS Chairman, Hon (Dr.) Ibraheem Oladeji Salami DIKKO, for the loss of his father, who was a reputable financial expert.
He noted that the loss is not only for the family but also for the people of Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
According to the statement, Pa Dr. Salami Olagoke served as Oyo State Accountant General from 2011 to 2015 during Senator Abiola Ajimobi’s first term in office as Executive Governor of Oyo State.
“The news of the passing of one of the most active, vibrant, hardworking, and resourceful financial experts came as a shock to me and everyone in Oyo State. We are deeply saddened by the loss of this icon. He was a patriotic, selfless, and philanthropic man who dedicated himself to the service of Oyo State.
“Mr. Chairman, please be assured that PTS Oyo State Media Team stands firmly with you and your entire family during this time of grief.
“May the gentle soul of your dearly departed father rest peacefully in the warm embrace of Allah.
“Please accept the heartfelt condolences from the team,” the statement said.
