In a bid to ensure that the roads within the Ido local government area are motorable, the Executive Chairman of the Council, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, has responded to the yearnings of the residents of Elebu residents on the rehabilitation of the road.
Adeojo while speaking on the development, on Wednesday during his visit to the read rehabilitation site said, the Eleta road through Elebu Health Center, will be covered.
He said in line with his vision, the project would enable residents to enjoy the dividends of democracy and feel the impact of good governance on his administration is committed to.
The council chairman explained that he will ensure the needful is done within his domain to domesticate the good work of Governor Seyi Makinde-led government at the local level.
He explained that he is determined and committed to fulfilling all campaign promises he made which included rapid infrastructural development and others.
Adeojo, thereafter, appealed to the residents to protect government-owned facilities as it continues to provide basic and impactful projects.
In their appreciation messages, the duo of Vice Central Chairman and Financial Secretary, Alaaka Community Golden Gate Neighbourhood Elebu, Mr. Kabir Adewale, and Olufemi Ajagbe commended Adeojo for the gesture.
They thanked the chairman for coming to their aid when it was highly needed.
In recent times, Adeojo has devoted his energy as well as the resources within his disposal to providing road grading and rehabilitation for the people in Ido local government.
Before the approval and commencement of the ongoing road rehabilitation, Sheriff Adeojo has so far completed many road grading projects, and support to communities for road and bridge fixing in Ido local government area.
In the chairman’s entourage to the road rehabilitation site were, the Head of Local Government Administration, Dr. Mrs. Agnes Olakunbi Ojo, and the Director of Works, Engr. Ogundele Azeez.
