The executive chairman of Ido local government Hon Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo has again been eulogized for his proactiveness in keeping the local government area Cool and calm in the last three years.
Making the commendation is the Secretary to Ido local government, Hon. Bamidele Lawal during the peace and security meeting terminating the three years of the first term administration of Hon sheriff Adeojo as the council chairman.
The Secretary to the local government said Hon sheriff Adeojo knows his onion by establishing cordial relationships with all security operatives in the local government areas culminating in peace and tranquillity among the inhabitants.
He said further that Hon. Sheriff has set a template, which is enough as a footprint that must be followed by successive chairmen after the expiration of Hon Adeojo’s second term in office to sustain the peace in the land.
In their various situation reports, the security operatives which consist of the Police, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp, Road Safety, Immigration and others said their areas were calm in the month under review except for cases of stealing and other minor offences recorded.
In his remark, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo said he returned all thanks to God for His grace over the local government and appreciates the support given to his administration by the security agencies, politicians and career officers to record a huge success in the area of security in addition to his numerous achievements.
The council boss appealed to all the conventional and non-conventional security operatives not to relent in their efforts because they would be needed again to combat crimes as the sojourn of the second term begins tomorrow.
