The Executive Chairman, Sanda, who is also the ALGON Chairman of Oyo State, presided over the distribution of the educational materials to two hundred indigent-pupils of four primary schools across the council area.

The schools who benefitted from the gesture include: St. Paul Primary School, Egbeda, N.U. D Primary School, Baale, Islamic Primary School, Idi-Omo and Baptist Mission Primary School, Awaye respectively.

Explaining the essence of the benevolence, Hon Sanda appreciated the humane gesture of Platinum-Breed Brothers Charity, saying their mission is in tandem with the consistent Clarion call of the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde FNSE.

Sanda noted that the collaboration of private organization with government to provide quality education for our promising children in the state is commendable as government cannot bear the onerous burden of managing education alone.

He added that the move was to emulate the state governor, who has been demonstrating philanthropic gesture in the education sector, which is one of his cardinal programme embedded in Omituntun 1.0 and Omituntun 2.0 respectively.
