“He who comes into equity must come with clean hands” so they say, but unfortunately, the reverse is the case in Ogbomoso North Local Government where critical stakeholders are expected to make some holistic decisions in line with party’s directives and in the interest of the entire people of the Local Government.
On Wednesday, a meeting which was scheduled to hold at the home of Dr. Adegbite Sakariyahu, a respected party in leader in Ogbomoso, later turned into show of shame as result of what some members of the party called, “biased approach”
One of the critical stakeholders of the party in Ogbomoso north Local government who doesn’t want his name to be mentioned queried why such meeting would be called in the first instance without considering the participation of people like Alhaji Razaq Agbeti, Professor Rafael Afonja, Mr Odetunde Williams, John Oke Legacy, Saka Aremole, Abdusalam Ibrahim, Femi Balogun amongst others.
It is like building something on a faulty background. They have totally derailed from the directives that we received from the party. he stated.
The action which is not only condemnable but also sanctionable was rebuffed by party members who are advocating for justice, equity and upholding of the long term pacesetting status of Ogbomoso North Local Government.
However, all efforts to stampede the voice of the genuine masses and lover of due process proved abortive. One will wonder why those who were saddled with the responsibilities are busy doing something which is capable
of jeopardizing what Governor Seyi Makinde stands for.
Strange enough, the meeting was rescheduled to the residence of Dr. Saka. Balogun to further play some unimaginable scripts without making any correction to what critical stakeholders called for- “carry people that matters along, so that we won’t make any mistake or cause more division in the party”
Is this too hard comply with?
As if this is not enough, it’s laughable that, as at the time compiling this report, it is Mrs Balogun, wife of Baba Saka Balogun that is Coordinating the rescheduled meeting.
One will ask again, on what ground?
Is she the overall leader in Ogbomoso North Local Government or using the opportunity of Baba’s old age to play her own script ?
What is also the justification of sitting in Ibadan to determine who become who in Ogbomoso North Local Government?
Should we say that, the good people of Ibadan are also in Ogbomoso or other zone to hold a meeting where their candidates would be carefully considered?
Finally, in what capacity would baba’s third and youngest wife decide who becomes the next Chairman of Ogbomoso North?
“When hand shaking is going beyond elbow, serious and urgent caution is needed”
It’s time to tame the excesses of baba’s wife before she cause further damage to the Local Government.
