Ilaji Resort boss, Engr. Dotun Sanusi has debunked an allegation of vote-buying levelled against him by the opposition All Progressives Congress, during the guber election.
APC had earlier alleged that the Ilaji Resort boss was making pockets of cash transfers to the electorate to get their support in the March 18 election.
Speaking with journalists at his Resort, in Akanran, on Saturday, Sanusi said the accusation is coming on the heels of his popularity among the people.
He said, “The people who made the allegation are only displaying the gasps of a drowning man. They discovered they may be losing already”.
He observed that, “not too long ago, during the Presidential election, I told them my choice, and during this election too I made my choice known.
The Ilaji boss commended the electoral process, saying it is the best so far.
