Oyo State Governor ‘Seyi Makinde, few minutes ago, joined millions of Nigerian voters to cast his vote.
The governor, who voted at Ward 11, Unit 01, Abayomi Iwo-Road in Ibadan North East Local Council, arrived at the voting unit at about 10.30 a.m.
He had earlier been verified and accredited with the BVAS machine.
Speaking briefly with journalists, the governor appreciated the people of Oyo State for coming out, asking others to also troop out en masse to exercise their civic rights.
He also described the voting process as peaceful, commending the security agencies for doing a good job.
