Guardian Photo Editor, Femi Kuti, Is Dead

The media profession in Nigeria lost another icon early Friday, 6 January, 2023 as the Photo Editor of the Guardian newspapers, Femi Kuti, is dead.

The ace photo journalist died at the Federal Medical Center (FMC), Abeokuta after a brief battle with illness that has to do with liver failure.

This medium learnt that Kuti died at about 2am on Friday, 6 January, 2023 while plans were at an advanced stage to transfer him to the prestigious St Nicholas Hospital in Lagos.

This medium also learnt further that the late photo journalist will be buried later today, Friday, 6 January, 2023.
