Fuji legend King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, has reminded President Bola Tinubu that Nigerians are suffering and displeased with his government.
In a video recording that surfaced on social media on Thursday, February 1, 2024, the Fuji icon was complaining about the state of the nation during one of his recent stage performances.
Delivering his message in Yoruba, Ayinde urged Tinubu to find solutions to the plethora of challenges confronting the masses, crying out for urgent measures by to mitigate their suffering, which has become intolerable
He warned that failure to genuinely tackle the myriad of difficulties and deprivation the citizens are suffering could inflict dire consequences on the country in no time.
The fuji icon equally noted that unabated kidnapping of citizens everywhere; extremely high cost of living; rising tax burden on citizens and businesses; perennially poor electricity supply amid frequent hike in tariff and decay infrastructure among other challenges are really making life unbearable for the people.
While saying the people are fed up with the situation in the country, he urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led Federal Government to urgently address issues raised.
He said: “The people are lamenting – they are suffering and their salaries can longer sustain them. In fact, we are all seriously wailing.
“Power supply is nothing to write home about. What are you doing about all these, Akanbi? Asiwaju, please don’t deaf ears to the lamentations of our people. We know you to be a philanthropist, but we Nigerians are angry. The people of Nigeria are angry.
“Traders are suffering. Naira is getting weaker. More shocking is the spate of kidnapping in the nation. How did we get to this point, Asiwaju? Please, act fast.”
