Former First Lady, Lagos State and Chairperson, Operation and Logistics, Tinubu/Shettima Women Presidential Campaign Council, has congratulated the president-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, of the All Progressive Congress, APC , for his victory at the polls, describing it as a reflection of the wishes of majority of Nigerians.
An elated Senator Rasaki while reacting to the election results in her Ekiti country home, commended the political resilience of Asiwaju, noting that Nigerians overwhelmingly rewarded his doggedness, patriotism and efforts with this victory at the polls.
She urged the President- elect to be benovolent in victory and govern Nigeria with equity and fairness, irrespective of party affiliation or creed.
Senator Rasaki further applauded Nigerian from all works of life for the peaceful conduct at the polls, saying, “I must congratulates Nigerians for their resilience. The successful conduct of this first phase of 2023 general elections is welcoming. This has affirmed the level of willingness of our citizens and their love for democracy as a way of life.” she affirmed.
She charged all APC members and other well meaning Nigerians to see the victory in the Presidential poll as a good omen for the incoming State Governorship and State House Assemblies elections and work diligently to ensure the party’s succeed further.
She assured Nigerians to be committed and believe in the incoming administration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and assured, “under his presidency, Nigeria will experience prosperity in all sectors of government.”
