S A on Islamic Affairs to Oyo State Governor, Imam Abdrasheed Abdulazeez, has delivered his polling unit to the candidates of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in the just concluded election.
Imam, who voted at Polling Unit 004, Ward 08 of Ibadan North West Local Govt Area of the state, mobilised electoral support for the candidates of the ruling party.
According to the gubernatorial results, PDP polled 141 whilst APC got 40 votes.
As for the House of Assembly result, the ruling party, PDP, got 101 votes cast against the opposition, APC, who got 36.
Imam, speaking shortly after the exercise, expressed satisfaction in the process and thanked supporters of the party who, according to him, “exercised their franchise meaningfully.”
