Princess Folasade Azeezat Abeo, Iyaloja General of Oyo State, has applauded the national Iyaloja general, Dr. Folashade Tinubu-Ojo’s visionary plan to establish the National Market Council of Nigeria (NMCN), saying it is a welcome development.
Princess Abeo emphasized the potential unity and collective purpose the initiative could bring to market traders across the state and the nation.
Highlighting the significance of the proposed Commission, Princess Abeo underscored its role in strengthening business bonds among traders and contributing to the overall advancement of the national economy.
A statement signed by her Media, Aide Mr Rahman A. Alawode, indicated the NMCN would address current business challenges, particularly those faced by small traders.
Princess Abeo anticipated that the Commission, once realized, will offer tailored solutions to prevalent issues, with a special focus on enhancing the economic viability of small businesses.
“The idea behind formation of Market Council is a welcome development, which I believe is poised to provide a platform facilitating advancement among market traders.
“I also appreciate the fact that one of the provisions that will be enjoyed is the access to single-digit loan facilities, thereby significantly boosting small businesses on a national scale,” She stated.
Expressing gratitude, the Iyaloja General of Oyo State said Dr. Tinubu-Ojo has practically exhibited proactive approach in shaping the future of market activities.
