The Executive Chairman of Oyo East Local Government Area, Prince Saheed Arowosaye, on Monday, inspected the ongoing construction work at Ashamu road in Kosobo, a project initiated by the local government administration.
The Chairman, who was accompanied by some of his aides, said the inspection visit was aimed at evaluating the progress of the project and ensuring that it adheres to the specified standards.
Arowosaye expressed satisfaction with the progress of the road project and commended the contractor for his commitment to delivering quality work within the stipulated timeline. He assured that the road will soon be open to public use.
The project which is being handled by Quik Born Nigeria Limited was flagged off in February and is one of many initiatives of the local government administration aimed at enhancing the infrastructure within the area.
“The road project undertaken by our administration is a testament to our commitment to enhancing the overall infrastructure within our local government area. We are committed to ensuring that our people have access to good roads and other essential amenities that improve their quality of life” Arowosaye said during the inspection.
The Chairman also took the opportunity to commend Governor Seyi Makinde for his unwavering support for local government administrations in the state to deliver dividends of democracy to the people.
