Dear President Tinubu,

I write to you as a concerned citizen, deeply committed to the progress and well-being of our beloved Nigeria. While reflecting on the challenges of the past year and the promises of Renewed Hope during the 2023 elections, it is with sincere concern that I address you, expressing the disappointment felt by many Nigerians under your leadership.

The nation currently grapples with pressing issues in critical sectors including power, economy, security, food security, education, health, sports, aviation, and the petroleum industry. The stark contrast between the envisioned renewed hope and the harsh reality on the ground demands urgent attention. The plight of Nigerians, with many struggling to secure even one meal a day, is a matter of grave concern.

The state of federal hospitals, the reduction of medical personnel, and challenges in the healthcare sector highlight the need for comprehensive intervention. The escalating insecurity in Nigeria, including daily kidnappings, abductions, and criminal activities affecting travel and agriculture, requires immediate and decisive action. Our citizens live in fear, believing that divine intervention is their only security.

I implore you, Mr. President, to revisit the promises of Renewed Hope and take decisive actions to address these pressing issues. Prioritizing the well-being of our citizens, particularly the youth, is paramount for a prosperous Nigeria.

Let me draw your attention to the exemplary leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde in Oyo State, whose people-centric governance and transparent approach have set a positive precedent, such leadership qualities could pave the way for a more prosperous Nigeria.

In the spirit of unity, love, and tolerance, I urge you to consider empowering states to take ownership of their mining industries. This decentralization could bring about positive changes, allowing states to harness their resources for the benefit of their people.

In conclusion, I beseech you to prioritize the interests of Nigerians, encourage state autonomy in the mining industry, and support efforts for justice regarding the Bodija Explosion.

May our great nation experience a true renewal of hope and prosperity under your leadership as you have promised Nigerians.

God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

God bless the People.

Sincerely,
