A money lender, called Adamu Monday has been apprehended by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for allegedly defrauding, Dr. Adedeji Kehinde to the tune of #32m.
According to our impeccable source, Dr. Adedeji Kehinde, the former Commissioner for Health under the administration of Dr. Olusegun Agagu of blessed memory approached Adamu Monday, (money lender) for a loan of #7m using documents of his properties as collateral.
Furthermore, the information reaching City Movers Magazine revealed that Adamu Monday has not only collected over #32m from Dr. Adedeji Kehinde but he has also allegedly changed all documents in his custody to reflect that he’s the rightful owner, which is tantamount to breaching of agreement and trust of both parties.
EFCC from Benin Zonal Office that stormed Oba Ile residence of the suspect, Adamu Monday, several documents were discovered and carted away by the Officers of the anti graft agency.
Dr Adedeji who sensed foul play and breach of agreement took the matter to the EFCC which led to the arrest of the suspect.
As at the time of filing this report, our correspondent is yet to hear anything from the EFCC, despite several telephone calls put across.
