Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Ido Local Government Area, Hon. Ayuba Akinsola, has debunked reports being circulated on social media indicating that the Council Boss, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo, was suspended.
The Chairman, who spoke with this medium, on Tuesday afternoon, said the information was untrue.
He added that though there were plots to suspend the Council Boss but proved abortive as the majority of the councilors were on the side of the council Chairman, Adeojo.
It was gathered that the security operatives at the venue were able to handle the crisis when the situation got out of hand.
According to Akinsola: ” No, there was nothing like that. I can tell you the report flying in the media is damaging and does not reflect the fact. The exercise was not successful, though there were plans to suspend him.
“He had the majority councilors on his side and that was a major factor that favored him.”
