Marking the 2023 International Women’s Day, the recipient of the Oyo State Woman of the Year award, Tinu Smith, has felicitated with women across Oyo State urging them to stay positive and open to new ideas.

In a statement issued by Tinu Smith to commemorate the IWD and made available to journalists, the CEO of Datina Designs admonished Oyo Women to go out of their comfort zones and embrace new ideas.

“Women are special! We are strategic in God’s plan! We are incubators of great ideas, and we are all wired for impact. Let us arise and step out of our comfort zones into the territories God has mapped out for us. The era of playing small has gone.

“Let us make our great Oyo State beautiful by spreading our light and love throughout our state and beyond! We are change makers! Carriers of great light and hope. The world is waiting for our manifestation. We are the voice of change needed for this season.”

“Let us rise and shine.  Always remember you are a woman! Wonderful and beautifully created, you are a wonder!

Happy International Women’s Day!” she concluded.

Recall that Tinu Smith emerged as the 2022 Oyo State woman of the year at the 6th edition of the Oyo State Most Influential Award Series, an event put together by Ibadan Media Ltd, earlier this year.
