The executive chairman of Ido local government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo has been commended for his exemplary leadership style in managing the local government in the last three years.
Making the commendation is the leader of the legislative house of Ido local government, Hon. Rafiu Omotosho, during the valedictory sitting of the house to wind up the legislative business in the last three years.
Hon. Omotosho said working with Hon. Sheriff Adeojo as the executive chairman of Ido is an eye-opener for him and his colleagues because the nitty-gritty of politics was learned.
He also appreciated the leadership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ido for the opportunity given to them to serve.
In his valedictory speech, Hon. Omotosho expressed his heartfelt gratitude to other councillors “It will be a disservice of the highest order if I fail to appreciate the support accorded me as the leader of the house by the principal offices and other floor members of this honourable house”.
Hon. Omotosho therefore called on the Party chieftains in Ido to please consider other councillors who did not have an opportunity like himself and others to be re-elected for other appointments because of their loyalty to the party.
