The executive chairman of Ido local government Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo has been appreciated for his welfarism towards the serving corps members attached to the local government.
Making the commendation is the Oyo state coordinator of National Youth Service Corps, (NYSC) comrade Odoba Abel who led other inspectors to pay a courtesy call to the chairman in his office.
Comrade Odoba said the courtesy visit is in recognition of the welfare package for the Corps members attached to the local government and the mutual relationship existing between the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) staff and the chairman.
Comrade Odoba said NYSC is still looking forward to more continuing and robust friendship ties between the local government and the NYSC.
The chairman while welcoming the team to the local government said Ido is a special local government that stands out among others (Ido le tente.) and it is a home of hospitality to non-indigenes.
The chairman said his administration will continue seeing to the well-being of corps members posted to the local government so they can feel at home and portray the local government image well when they get back homes
