Ibadan North East Local Government today organized a sentforth party to bid farewell to its outgoing Councillors, who have completed their tenure.
The event, held at the Legislative Chamber, Ibadan North East Local Government was attended by the Chairman, Hon Ibrahim Akintayo, aka O mu Yes, the Head of Local Government Administration, Mrs Racheal Olabode, the Director of Administration and General Services, Dr (Mrs) R F Olanrewaju, some political functionaries and well-wishers.
In a release issued by the Council’s Information Officer, Ikeoye Oyetoro, the Chairman of the local government, Hon Ibrahim Akintayo expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the outgoing Councillors for their unwavering support and contributions towards the development of the local government during their tenure.
He acknowledged their dedication, hard work, and commitment to the welfare of the people, which have led to significant progress and achievements in various areas.
Hon Akintayo wished the outgoing Councillors well in their future endeavors, praying that they shall find favor and success in whatever they do.
The Council Boss therefore encouraged them to remain committed to the service of humanity and to continue being ambassadors of the local government and the party.
