On behalf of the teeming youths of the Peoples Democratic Party in Oyo State, I hereby congratulate the People’s governor, the symbol of good governance in Western Nigeria, the newly reelected Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde.
His easy victory and eventual announcement as the winner of the 2023 Gubernatorial elections in Oyo State is no doubt a testament to the fact that the good people of Oyo State have no regret handing over the affairs of the State to him in 2019.
Now that the mandate has been renewed, I am certain that the governor will not disappoint us.
I salute the hardworking, never tiring, youths of our party who worked like a jackal from throughout the campaign seasons, who worked as canvassers, who served and volunteered as Party Agents on the election day. We have truly shown that we are the future of this Party and by extension, this state.
I salute my Senatorial, Local Government and Ward Generals, the youth leaders who marshalled and controlled our youths until we got to victory.
I want to specially thank our volunteer groups, our community based support groups, different youth groups who worked with us for this election, students communities, National Youth Council of Nigeria, FOSSU, NAPS, Faith Based Youth organisations and so many other critical stakeholders in the youth leadership.
It is my prayer that we will not work and labour in vain, we will reap the fruits of our labour.
We will not rest and we will continue to engage ourselves until our society and community is better.
Once again, Congratulations to the People’s Governor! Governor Oluseyi Makinde.
