The wife of the Executive Chairman of Ido local government, Mrs. Ifedolapo Kafayat Adeojo has led women in the council area in the campaign against gender-based violence.
The campaign was centered on various violence being melted against women in the society, which ranges from sexual abuse, wife battering, and harmful traditional practices.
The campaign started from the local government secretariat around all major markets like Ido market, Omi-Adio market, Awotan market, and Apete market.
The rally had in attendance the Executive chairman of the local government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, all political office holders, the Head of the Local Government Administration Dr. Mrs. Agnes Olakunbi Ojo, and other Heads of Departments.
