The 2023 PDP House of Representatives Candidate for Ogbomoso North, South and Orire Federal Constituency, Hon. Olufemi Oladokun Onireti, on Wednesday, paid homage to the new Soun of Ogbomosoland, His Royal Majesty, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III.
Shortly after the brief visit, he stated that he felt so honored by the warm reception extended to him by the Kabiyeesi and the Chiefs present.
He prayed that Oba Ghandi’s reign will usher in more development to Ogbomoso Town.
“I had the privilege to pay homage to my King, the Soun of Ogbomosoland, His Royal Majesty, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III.
“I felt so honored by the warm reception extended to me by the Kabiyeesi and the Chiefs present.
“Kabiyeesi, as we approach your Official Coronation Day, I pray that your reign will usher in more development to our dear town, Ogbomoso.
“Kade pe lori, ki bata pele se. Irukere a dokinni o,” he said.
Recall that activities for the official coronation of the king Soun is scheduled to hold between December 14 and 19, 2023.
The development followed the approval of motion of stay of excution by the Oyo State High Court against the nullification of the selection process which enthroned Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III.
