The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, has appreciated the House of Representatives member representing the Ibadan North East/South East Federal constituency, Hon. Abbas Adigun Agboworin, for distributing the consignment of rice given to him by the Federal Government as palliative to his constituents during the yuletide.
The two chapters of the Christian Body in the Ibadan North East and Ibadan South East, over the weekend, jointly expressed their heartfelt gratitude, saying they are grateful for the humanitarian support.
In seperate letters of appreciation signed by their secretaries; Evangelist Alamu Lawrence and Pastor Amos Anijesu respectively, they extended their deepest gratitude for the lawmaker’s benevolence during the recent Christmas celebrations.
They jointly indicated that Agboworin’s generosity in providing bags of rice to their communities made a significant impact, brought joy and comfort to many families.
The CAN chapters, while saying that the Rep member’s thoughtful gesture reflects a genuine commitment to the well-being of his constituents, added that he will forever be remembered in the Federal constituency.
Speaking further, they pointed out that despite the current economic hardship, the lawmaker has practically shown kindness that has not only nourished their bodies but has also touched their hearts.
“We appreciate your dedication to fostering unity and harmony within the Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency.
“May your continued service be blessed, and may you find fulfillment in the positive impact you make on the lives of those you represent. We look forward to the prospect of future collaborations for the betterment of our community.
“Thank you once again, Hon. Abbas Adigun Agboworin, for your unwavering support and warm-hearted generosity.
“We want to appreciate you, Hon. Agboworin, for the Rice palliative given to us the Christian Body of Ibadan South East Local Government. We really appreciate your gesture.
“We pray to God Almighty to continue guiding you and be with you sir,” the statements read.
The lawmaker had, during the last yuletide, distributed the bags of rice and cash to support families, environment, communities, societies, widows, muslim and christian groups, youth groups, party members, stakeholders, leaders within his Federal constituency, among others.
