•commends NWC for his expulsion
Former Publicity Director of Ekiti Grassroots Movement and member of PDP Presidential Campaign Council in Ekiti, Mr. Adebisi Adeola, has applauded the decision of the National Working Committee of People’s Democratic Party, for the timely decision to suspend former governor Ayodele Fayose for his undeniable anti-party activities
In a swift reactions to his long overdue expulsion, Adeola alleged that Mr. Fayose had a deal of N500m with the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Tinubu, not only to work against Atiku Abubakar, but also strangulate PDP in Ekiti to give APC leeway to hold sway to power.
“Former governor Ayodele Fayose is not new to some of us. Fayose had already met with Tinubu to seal the deal before PDP presidential election. Our source confirmed that Fayose is a mole working for Tinubu in the PDP.
“The source further confirmed that his tweet, “South lokan”, was a confirmation that he had agreed to support Tinubu even before Peter Obi declared his intention to contest,” Adeola noted.
Commending Ayu-led NWC for upholding discipline in the party, Adeola said characters like former governor Fayose should not be trusted with any salient information concerning the party giving his continued romance with opposition leaders in the state and beyond.
According to Adeola, apart from working for Asiwaju, Fayose had instructed his Assembly candidates to drop their ambition to support APC candidates in Ekiti.
“How can a political merchant like Fayose lead PDP to victory in any election?
“If such an affront against the party is allowed to go without invoking the party constitution, PDP will lose its integrity which formed its guiding principles,” Adeola concluded.
