Former Deputy governor of Ekiti State, Professor Olusola Eleka, has congratulated the Oyo State Governor over victory on his reelection bid in the just concluded gibernatorial election.
Eleka submitted that the victory was a testament to people’s belief in Makinde’s leaderships style and ability to deliver good governance in the state.
He stated this in a statement personally signed on Monday and made available to journalists.
The statement read thus:
“Congratulations to the People’s Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde on your re-election as the Governor of Oyo State. This is a testament to people’s belief in your leadership and the attendant enjoyment of the dividends of Your Excellency’s passion- driven good governance.
“Your election symbolizes the hallmark of democracy and good governance in Nigeria, showing that you don’t need to disenfranchise people or coerce the electorate to emerge victorious at the poll.
“I firmly believe that your second term as helmsman of Oyo state will usher in more people-oriented policies, sustainable infrastructure, and economic liberalization for the people of the Pacesetter state.
“On behalf of my family and political associates, I congratulate you on this well-deserved victory at the 2023 Gubernatorial Poll.
