Children’s Day: Lagelu LG Chairman, Kamorudeen, Promises Commitment To Child Support, Protection

The Executive Chairman of Lagelu local government area, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen, has said his administration will be strongly committed to child support initiatives and protection programs.

The council chairman made this known in a press statement by his office, in commemoration of the children’s day on Monday.

In the statement, the Lagelu chairman gave assurance of his plans in leveraging extant laws in the state and the nation; as well as partnering with local schools, families, relevant child-based organizations and communities in addressing teenage pregnancy, child-labour, child-bullying, out-of-school menace.

He equally vowed to tackle every other existential crises capable of putting children at risk in his local government area.
