A versatile entrepreneur and owner of a fast-rising media company, tRoG World Media, Tolu Oluwo, has congratulated the former Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Chief Adebayo Adelabu (MFR) on his nomination as Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a congratulatory message made available to NewsBreakNaija in Ibadan, on Thursday, Oluwo described Adelabu as a man with immense capacity and competence.
He equally noted that, as a minister, Mr Adelabu is adequately equipped to make a great difference, based on his antecedents.
Reaffirming confidence in Adelabu, Tolu explained that “he is one of the nominees that would help presidency achieve his vision for the country.”
He, however, maintained that Adelabu, who has a history of commendable performance in public office, also possesses leadership skills that would be brought to fore in fulfillment of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda for the country.
“Being a first class student of Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and a Fellow of the Institute of Chatered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), I am not in doubt of Mr Adelabu’s capacity and the competence he will bring to fore. As a former deputy governor, Operations of the CBN, he has proven to be a guru in financial matters and economic development. So, he would be a round peg in a round hole.
“As a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria and an Associate Member of the Institute of Directors of Nigeria and the United Kingdom, His nomination did not actually come to me as a surprise. So, I believe that as one of the political sons of the President, he will support the presidency to drive the ‘renewed hope’ agenda.
“So, I pray that he will succeed in whatever responsibility that is assigned to him and justify the confidence reposed in him by the vast majority of Nigerians,” Tolu stated.
