The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Osun State Council, has congratulated Governor Ademola Adeleke on the occasion of his 64th birthday
In a congratulatory message signed by the Chairman, Comrade (Dr.) Christopher Abimbola Arapasopo, he described the Governor as “Talk and Do” Governor who has not reneged in fulfilling his promise to the entire workers in Osun.
The Congress also congratulates Governor Adeleke on the conferment of the exalted and culturally symbolic title and office of Asiwaju of Edeland.
Part of the statement reads, “On behalf of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Osun State Council, I heartily congratulate our “Talk and Do” Comrade Governor of Osun State, His Excellency, Senator (Dr.) Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, on the occasion of his 64th birthday.
“Mr. Governor, we are proud of your outstanding achievements in the last few months that you have been administering the affairs of our dear State. We are delighted that you have sustained the tradition of excellence in governance through many interventions in critical sectors of our economy.
“It was not surprise that you are conferred the prestigious and historical title, Asiwaju of Ede land by His Royal Majesty, the Timi of Ede Land, Oba (Dr) Munirudeen Adesola Lawal on your birthday. This is a well-deserved honour.
“The quality of leadership you provided and laudable feats since your assumption in office especially towards the workers of the State makes you beat in our heart.
“Your Excellency sir, on this special occasion, the workers affiliated to the NLC, Osun State Council join your family, friends, and the entire good people of Osun State in wishing you a happy birthday and coronation. May Almighty God continue to guide and grant you sound health as you serve our people.”
