Aviation Minister Commends Makinde’s Plan To Transform Ibadan Airport To Major Hub In South-West

Governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde and the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace, Festus Keyamo, met on Tuesday in Abuja to discuss transformation of Ibadan Airport to a major hub in Southwest Nigeria.

This was made known on Thursday via the twitter handle of Mr Keyamo, monitored by our correspondent.

The Minister wrote: “On Tuesday, I had fruitful discussions with H.E, Gov. SEYI Makinde of Oyo State regarding his wonderful plans to partner with the Federal Government to transform the Ibadan Airport to a major hub in South-West Nigeria.”

The development has continued to generate a positive reactions from the X users as they described Seyi Makinde as a “working Governor.”
