The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Ido branch, has annointed Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo as their preferred chairmanship candidate in the forthcoming local government poll.
The CAN, under the leadership of Reverend Femi Aladeselu, converged at the Christ Salvation Gospel church, Awotan, with other men of God to anoint the incumbent local government chairman, Hon Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo come April 27 local government election.
Rev. Aladeselu said the men of God under the umbrella of CAN took the decision because of the unprecedented development brought to Ido and open open-door policy adopted by the council boss.
The CAN zone 22 chairman said Hon. Sheriff despite being a Muslim does not discriminate against other faiths and gives everyone equal attention.
Hon. Sheriff Adeojo in his appreciation message thanked all the men of God for the show of love received from the men of God, he assured them to maintain the good behavior he is known for and continue to work for the betterment of the council area.
