God works in mysterious ways in our individual lives. Sometimes, God puts us to test, to test our resilience and commitment to work.
That in fact is the story of Alhaji Ali Ateiza Bello, the current Chief of Staff to the ever – smiling Executive Governor of Kogi State, gentleman and HE Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, a man who has proved himself as a brilliant accountant and a visionary leader, who is profoundly dedicated to the progress and prosperity of the State.
I am thrilled to highlight one or two qualities of Alhaji Ali Ateiza Bello. For one, Alhaji Bello is a salient and selfless worker, a behind the curtail worker and quite unassuming. He was indeed “one of the engine-rooms” worker in the days of the “white lion”.
His contributions to the enhancement of Kogi politics is legendary. It is rumoured in some quarters that the former catalyst Governor extolled the virtues of the Chief of Staff. Not long ago, it was said the Chief of Staff himself was heard saying to his aides….our predecessors in office have laid a solid foundation. It is time and moments for us to building an enduring Kogi State, where future Kogites would be proud of our contributions. It is therefore time for serious work, not a time for frivolous excuses. My office will play that centrifugal role and exemplify genuine commitment in supporting our amiable Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo in achieving a remarkable success in his first tenure… that is my target and desire as the Kogi State Chief of Staff, he enthused.
Apart from being a salient worker, a man of few words, Alhaji Ali Ateiza Bello is reputed to possess an uncommon wisdom and strategic vision. His role in shaping the State’s future is evident in the successful completion of key projects especially the Ganaja Bridge and other infrastructural initiatives. In fact, the success story of the Ganaja bridge cant be complete without the mention of Alhaji Ali Bello. His benign and unassuming disposition has elicited some sort of mutual respect and support amongst the commissioners and other cabinet members.
The recently launched palliative programs by His Excellency Usman Ododo, marked a significant milestone in the State’s determined effort in reaching out to the masses at this austere time. The palliative program is just the beginning of many more robust welfare programmes not just to the civil servants only but to cover all residents of Kogi State. And that is a promise the Alhaji Ododo led administration has made to the industrious and peace-loving people of the State.
As Alhaji Ali Ateiza Bello has pledged to continue to spearhead pragmatic efforts at promoting economic development and prosperity in Kogi State, residents can be rest assured that a Renewed Hope is in the horizon. His leadership, coupled with the support of the commissioners, it is a promise of an eligariatarian future filled with progress and opportunities for all.
The point must be made at this juncture. I salute and congratulate Kogi State Governor for believing and appointing Alhaji Ali Ateiza Bello, a man known for his capacity to deliver at short notices. It is therefore not in doubt that Alhaji Ali Ateiza Bello will leave a lasting legacy of development and growth in the state. As Kogites looks eagerly towards such a promised and bright future, Alhaji Ali Ateiza Bello remains a central figure, by virtue of the centrality of his office, in enthroning progress and prosperity in the State.
With the sound leadership quality of Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo, the Renewed Hope agenda of Mr President as a guide and the genuine commitment of the Governor, it is indeed a new dawn in Kogi State. In times of change, it’s natural to have uncertainties. But let us remember that change also brings opportunities for growth and progress. As we embrace the administration of Governor Ododo, let us do so with hope and optimism.
Believe in the vision that Governor Ododo has for Kogi State. His commitment to improving our communities, creating opportunities for all, and ensuring a brighter future for our children is unwavering. Let us stand together in support of his efforts, knowing that our collective strength and determination will lead us to a better tomorrow.
