A renowned political leader and Member representing Ibadan South East/North East federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Rep. Abass Adigun, who is popularly known as Agboworin, has joined well-wishers across the world to celebrate the 62nd birthday anniversary of the Former Speaker of the House and current Chief of Staff to Nigeria’s President, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, CFR.
Agboworin, who also chairs the House Committee on Narcotic Drugs, in a statement signed and made available to journalists by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mayowa Okekale, described him as an “iconic Chief of Staff.”
He hailed Gbajabiamila as a selfless leader, a true statesman, and a shining example of what it means to serve with integrity and purpose, adding that the former Speaker made a mark in the history of Nigeria’s parliament.
The lawmaker praised Gbajabiamila’s dedication and spectacular contribution to the growth of democracy as 9th Assembly Speaker, saying that the attributes have placed him on a greater pedestal to serve the nation at the level of Presidency.
Agboworin said: “Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila is a true icon of democracy, a leader who has inspired countless lives, and a mentor to many. I salute his dedication to our great nation and his contributions to our political landscape, which are immeasurable.”
He, however, prayed that his remaining years on earth shall be filled with goodness and prosperity in sound health.
