The leadership of Muslim Political Awareness Front (MUPAF) has described the recent response by Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State on the MURIC’s reaction to the percentage of Muslims and Christians on the list of Commissioner nominees as insulting and ridiculous to the entire Muslims in the state.

MUPAF National Coordinator, Alh Lukman Obembe, who made this known in a video over the weekend, condemned the response by the governor claiming that Christians are more competent than Muslims in his consideration for appointments.

Obembe, who spoke in Yoruba language in the video, menttained that 70 percent of the population in Osun are Muslims while Christian and others take the remaining 30 percent, hence the need for sharing formula base on the population is sacrosanct.

He also charged Muslims stakeholders to be firm in the political involvement, saying every Muslims must partake in politics in the interest of Islam.
