Adamawa Supplementary Poll: Makinde Pays Solidarity Visit To Fintiri In Yola

The Governor of Oyo State, H.E. Engr Seyi Makinde, on Monday, paid a solidarity visit to his Adamawa State counterpart in Yola, H.E. Hon Umaru Fintiri, on the ongoing supplementary election.

The Independent Electoral Commission, INEC, had on Sunday afternoon, suspended the collation of the election, following purported declaration of the APC Candidate as winner by the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) even when the process has clearly not been concluded.

Meanwhile, the governorship Campaign Council of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the state stormed the office of the Electoral umpire, demanding for the resumption and conclusion of the exercise without further delay.
