The former Deputy governor of Ekiti State, Prof. Olusola Eleka, has urged the people of Edo State to vote for the candidate of the People’s Democratic Congress in today’s governorship election in the state
Eleka made the appeal in a statement signed by his Media Aide, Adebisi Adeola, on Saturday, which was made available to journalists.
He stated that the continuity of PDP’s reign is the best alternative, and would continue to yield positive results thereby changing the fortune of the state.
Eleka urged the electorate not to allow themselves to be intimidated but remain bold in performing their constitutional rights.
The statement read, “As Edo people decide who governs them for another 4 years, I call on good people of Edo State to cast their vote for PDP’s candidate, Dr Asue Ighodalo.
“Giving the abysmal state of economy and governance in Nigeria since APC came to power since 2015, I strongly believe that continuity of PDP in Edo state is the best alternative. Do not be intimidated, come out to vote and defend your vote.”
