Pastor Reuben Wilson Restates Commitment To Educational Advancement Of Underprivileged

…As Nollywood Actor, Elawereami Appreciates Pastor Reuben For Educational Support 

Pastor Reuben Wilson, founder of Pastor Reuben Initiative for Good Leadership and Accountability (PRIFGLA) and member of the Governing Council of the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State has restated his commitment to empowering the underprivileged in the society through education.

Pastor Wilson who disclosed this to newsmen in an exclusive interview in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State shared his passion for education, stemming from his own struggles.

“Education is the best gift anyone can give to someone,” he emphasized. “Without education, you’re like someone living in the forest, blind to the world around you. But with education, it’s like light shining, opening doors to endless possibilities.”

Born into poverty and an educational journey that was marked by hardship, he recalled dragging food with lunatics to survive, working as a wheelbarrow pusher, fisherman, and hawking goods, adding that these experiences fueled his determination to help others access education.

“I’ve been blessed by God, and I’m sharing that blessing with others,” he said. “It’s not about having money; it’s about having the spirit of giving. God has given me that spirit, and I’ll continue to help people until He calls me home.”

Pastor Wilson noted his zeal for education drives this initiatives, believing that investing in people’s education is investing in their future. “Even if you can’t give money, push one or two people to succeed. Some will remember to say thank you, and that’s enough,” he said.

Pastor Wilson has through PRIFGLA supported numerous students, providing scholarships and educational resources.and inspired countless individuals, empowering them to pursue their dreams.

“I’m doing this for God, not for myself or anyone else,” Pastor Wilson emphasized. “God is lifting me up because of these efforts, and I’ll continue to do good, lifting others educationally.”

As a member of the University of Uyo Governing Council, he remained committed to promoting education and fostering a brighter future for the next generation, saying that his story should serve as a testament to the transformative power of education and the impact one person can have on the lives of others.

Meanwhile, a veteran Nollywood Actor, Elawereami Pereke Elawereami has appreciated Pastor Reuben Wilson for the support rendered towards the completion of his Master’s degree programme.

Elawereami highlighted the crucial role played by Pastor Reuben Wilson in his quest to further his education, saying that without the support he wouldn’t have succeeded.
