In fulfillment of his promise to prioritize qualitative education in Ibadan North East Local Government, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo (Omu Yes), today donated 9 white chalkboards to Okebadan High School.
In a release signed by the Council’s Information Officer, Ikeoye Oyetoro, the Chairman noted that the donation is part of his administration’s efforts to create a conducive learning environment for students within the council area.
“We are committed to providing the necessary tools and resources to support our students’ academic success,” Hon. Akintayo said.
Receiving the donation, the Principal of Okebadan High School, Mr. Oluwemimo Solomon Olasunkanmi, expressed his gratitude to the Chairman for the kind gesture.
“We appreciate the support of the local government in enhancing our school’s infrastructure. These chalkboards will greatly enhance our teaching and learning experiences,” he said.
Hon. Akintayo reiterated his determination to continue supporting education in the council area, stating, “We will continue to prioritize initiatives that promote qualitative education and improve the overall well-being of our students.”
