On April 7, annually, the day is observed in order to raise awareness about global health issues and highlight the importance of well-being. Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the first Lady of Nigeria has commended the Nigerian health workers on their dedication and commitment to work in relation to various health challenges the country had faced in the past and presently.
She aslo urged the Government to do more on delivery quality health services to its citizenry.
In a statement made available by Busola kukoyi SSA Media to the first Lady, “Today, as we observe World Health Day, the theme “Health for All: Health Equity” resonates deeply. It reminds us that healthcare delivery is not a privilege but a fundamental human right.”
