Soaring Media Concepts Ltd marked the Independence public holiday by hosting a social media Advertising workshop on Monday, October 2, 2023.
The event took place in their office hall at Alimosho, Lagos, featuring practical classes on online advertising and social media content creation and content calendar, with the company also providing lunch for attendees. Most of the students were able to setup major social media advertising accounts, funded it and also setup their first adverts.
Speaking at the end of the event, Mr Godwin Okereke, an attendee from Gbagada, said, “For some months, I’ve been looking at getting practical knowledge of digital marketing. Soaring Media Concepts is the only place I’ve got the real practical aspect of the training. It has given me hope because I used to be hopeless about the whole thing.”
When asked if he would attend another programme like this, Mr Okereke responded, “Of course I would attend again. A hundred times until I’m well grounded.”
Another attendee, Miss Nwachukwh Stephnora, said “It’s actually my first time ever attending this kind of training, though at first I was skeptical, but in the end I didn’t regret coming as I’ve been looking forward to having a full grasp of these skills for long and truly Soaring Media Concepts gave me this. Also, locating the office wasn’t difficult at all and the team and entire atmosphere was lovely like we’ve known for long. I appreciate your welcoming atmosphere and if need be to refresh and learn any other skill, I’ll be glad to come back.”
The company’s CEO, Mr. Paul Oluwafemi Oluwabusola, says the workshop helps the business create awareness and foster community service.
In his words: “Our way of training gives us an edge. If you observe, our fees are always on the lower side because we want to help small-scale businesses push their business on their own.”
Adding, he noted that: “It helps us create awareness so people know we provide these services. And also to equip young people with skills to make something for themselves legitimately. So, it’s our way of giving back to the community.”
Soaring Media Concepts Ltd is a digital marketing/public relation company in Alimosho, Lagos. Their services include online advertising, Digital branding, social media management, digital public relations, website development, and domain hosting, email marketing and content creation.
They also offer training to help aspiring business owners establish themselves online, they welcome interns and corpers willing to be tutored by them. They have hosted numerous workshops, the Independence Day Social Media Marketing workshop being their latest skill acquisition scheme.
This event followed the “May Day” digital marketing training held earlier this year on May 1, 2023 and will continue to host this Workshop at their office every Friday and online sessions on Saturdays 4pm.
