As part of his efforts to ensure peace reigns in all nooks and crannies of his council, the Executive Chairman Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, held monthly security meeting today Friday 29th of September, 2023 at the Executive Hall of Ido Local Government.
After the meeting, He donated a sum of one hundred thousand naira to Ile Ido Police station to repair their grounded patrol vehicle in order to ease their assignments.
The council boss further assured others that he will proffer solution to any issue that can disturb their assignment so far they inform him earlier.
The security operatives in attendance include all Divisional Police Officers in the Council, all Divisional Officer NSCDC Ido Local Government, O.C. SSS, Division Officer Immigration, FRSC, F.I.B.
In the same vein, youths and adults were advised to shun drug abuse to prevent its adverse effects which include health problem, death, violence, motor accident, morbidity and so on.
Hon. Sheriff Adeojo also used the opportunity to applaud all the security agencies in his council for maintaining peace in all nooks and crannies of Ido local government, and also commended the Civil Defence Ologuneru division for their efforts to safe the lives of unknown citizen that had a fatal accident and gave up eventually.
The Head of Local Government Administration, Dr. Agnes Ojo, and the Director of Administration and General Services Mr. Wole Oyelade, the Director of Finance and Supplies Mr.Johnson Olaore among others were in attendance.
