The peoples democratic party’s chairmanship candidate in Lagelu local government area, Honorable Mudashiru Kamorudeen, on Wednesday, urged Muslims across the local government area to use the season of Maulud to build harmonious society for the good of all.
Mr. Kamorudeen gave the advice in a statement he made to journalists on Wednesday.
He advised Muslims to see the month as a period for thoughtful reflection, demonstration of love, and devotion to peace in the human community.
“As Muslims, we should be committed to peace and harmony, justice, equality and compassion towards our fellow human beings. These bonds are far stronger than the differences that too often drive us apart.
“This sacred day of Maulud, I extend my best wishes to all Muslim faithfuls here in Lagelu local government area and around the world”, Mr. Kamorudeen said.
