The Oyo State youth leader, Mr Ogunsina Michael, has extended his warmest congratulations to Miss Wasilat Olufemi Adegoke, over her nomination as commissioner-nominee for the Ministry of Youths and Sport by Engr Seyi Makinde, the Executive Governor of Oyo State.
Mr Ogunsina, in a statement personally signed and made available to newsmen in Ibadan, described Ms Wasilat as a strong and dedicated party member who has, over the years, shown strong loyalty and dedication to the party.
He said His Excellency’s choice of her nomination is a testament to her ability to deliver on Governor Makinde’s Omituntun 2.0 goals.
“As a dedicated and strong member of the People’s Democratic Party, it is no doubt that she will exercise her official duties diligently.
“I am not surprised that Engr Seyi Makinde chose Wasilat as a Commissioner-nominee because I have always known her to be a strong, loyal and dedicated member of the party. I am confident she will deliver on her new assignment to the State,” Ogunsina stated.
The People’s Democratic Party youth leader also commended Engr Seyi Makinde for promoting youth inclusion in government and rewarding loyalty and dedication amongst the youths in the party and in the state in general.
“Since the inception of this government in the State, aside from fulfilling the electoral promises made to the people of the state, the Engr Seyi Makinde led administration has alway encouraged the youths in various capacity, bringing out and mentoring the youths in various leadership positions.
“On behalf of the youths in the party, I commend the Governor once more for the youth inclusion in government his government is now undoubtedly known for and on thus note we call him” baba èwe” of Oyo State,” the statement concluded.
