World Youth Day: Cybercrime Detrimental To Your Future, Embrace Limitless Potentials Of ICT – Oyo Reps Member, Odidiomo Charges Youths

Hon. (Alh.) Dhikurilah Stanley Adedeji Olajide (Odidiomo), a federal lawmaker representing Ibadan Northwest/Southwest Federal Constituency has charged the youth to imbibe and practice all-around discipline to achieve their dreams and goals of success.

Odidi Omo, who is the Chairman, House Committee on ICT and Cybersecurity gave the charge in his message to youth on World Youth Day.

The outspoken Oyo federal lawmaker advised the youth to embrace emerging trends in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to equip themselves for the challenges of the 21st Century.

“As we celebrate World Youth Day, let’s embark on a journey of empowerment and responsibility in the digital age. Our world is interconnected like never before, and the power of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is undeniable. It offers us boundless opportunities to create, connect, and innovate. However, with great power comes great responsibility.

Instead, let’s channel our energy into becoming the guardians of the digital realm by embracing Cybersecurity.

“Imagine a world where you are the defenders of digital landscapes, where you unravel the complexities of code, algorithms, and networks to ensure safety and privacy for all. By pursuing careers in Cybersecurity, you’ll not only safeguard critical information but also contribute to shaping a safer and more secure digital future.
