The newly appointed Chairman and Sole Administrator for Oyo State Pacesetter Transport Services (P.T.S), Hon. (Dr). Ibraheem Oladeji Salami, politically addressed as DIKKO, has expressed his appreciation to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde and all the Youths of the state for their support so far.
Recall that Dikko served as the Director General for Youth Mobilisation under Omituntun 2.0 Campaign Team, which birthed the emergence of Governor Makinde as a second-term Governor of Oyo State.
While dedicating the appointment to the youth of the state, he pledged to be more committed and dedicated to the duty placed on his table.
Dikko said: “Having gone this far in my political journey, I hereby express my profound gratitudes to Almighty God for His grace upon my life. Glory be to God.
“In the same vein, I deeply appreciate my principal, The Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde (FNSE), to have been honoured with this appointment as the Chairman and Sole Administrator of Oyo State Pacesetter Transport Services (PTS). The trust, sound leadership, guidance and immense faith reposed in me will not be taken for granted.
“I take this appointment as a call to action in making sure every assignment given to me by the Governor must be excellently done.
“I appreciate my Dear wife, my children, family, colleagues, friends, political associates, Omituntun 2.0 campaign team and well wishers for their love, prayers, hardwork, unwavering support and congratulatory messages.
“Lastly, I cannot forget the entire Youth of Oyo State for the love they displayed during the last General elections by voting for my principal second term bid. I say thank you all.”
He, however, assured the people of the state of his continued dedication towards the fulfillment of the statutory mandate laid upon him and promised to key into the master plan of the governor to ensure sustainable development in Oyo State.
“I am sure, with your support, prayers and collaboration, I shall take Oyo State Pacesetter Transport Services (P.T.S) to next level of greatness that will make services easy for all the residents and non-residents of the state.
“Omituntun 2.0 is here and it’s my prayer that Almighty God will continue to guide our Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde in the right paths, He concluded.
