Be Magnanimous In Victory, Close Ranks With Stakeholders To Unite Party – Eleka Celebrates, Urges Adeleke

The former Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Professor Olusola Eleka, has congratulated the governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, over his victory at the Supreme Court.

Eleka, who noted that the victory was a testament to the overwhelming support and confidence the good people of the state reposed in him, said the legal battle has come to an end.

In a statement personally signed on Wednesday and made available to journalists in Ekiti, Eleka urged Adeleke to be magnanimous in victory and close ranks with other stakeholders within the party, with a view to instilling unity and cohesion.

The statement read in part:

“I congratulate HE, Senator Ademola Adeleke on his resounding victory today at the Apex Court. This victory is a testament to the overwhelming support and confidence the good people of Osun reposed on you before the election and after.

“Your quality performance within the last five months in office has shown how prepared you are to deliver the dividends of democracy to the electorates.

“It is my hope, HE, that you will be magnanimous in victory and close ranks with other stakeholders, not only to unite the party in the southwest but provide quintessential leadership we will all be proud of going forward.”
