3 Die As Container Falls On Tricycle In Ogbomoso

Three persons were feared killed in Takie area of Ogbomosho, Oyo state on Tuesday when a container-laden truck lost control and fell on a commercial tricycle.

It was learnt that the incident occurred at Takie Junction around 9:30 a.m during which the two female passengers and the tricycle rider were trapped under the container

According to an eye witness, trouble started when the truck reportedly lost control while navigating a bend, causing the container to topple and crush the tricycle.

Rescue officials later confirmed that all three victims had died.

As at the time of sending this report, efforts are still on at removing the container from the road to avert further accidents and restore traffic flow in the area.
