The Oyo State governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, will win the March 11, 2023 governorship election decisively in Oorelope Local Government, the Movement for Oorelope Socioeconomic Emancipation (MOSE) has said.
Convener of the Movement and Special Assistant to the Governor on Print Media, Moses Adebayo Alao, stated this on Tuesday, when the state governor campaigned in Olorunsogo and Oorelope Local Governments, noting that the massive turnout of residents in Igboho was a proof that his people believe in Makinde that he could satisfy their yearning for development.
MOSE, which declared that the residents of Oorelope Local Government will vote massively for the governor and other PDP candidates in the next general election, added that the people of the Council have always had faith in the governor and that they will choose to move forward with him.
According to MOSE, residents of the local government have seen the good developments brought to bear in the local government and other parts of the state and they will vote for the continuity of the good works.
It noted that the people of the area are of the view that it will soon be their turn to celebrate good things with Makinde.
MOSE, further noted that the renovation and equipment of Primary Health Care Centres in Oorelope Local Government, the completion of the Okegboho Baptist Primary School Model School and the construction of blocks of classrooms and other education infrastructure in different schools were among projects benefited by the Council.
He added that the ongoing construction of Saki-Ogbooro-Igboho Road is another major reason the people of the Council will re-elect Makinde, noting that when completed, the project will boost the economy of Oorelope local government.

The convener said: “I appreciate the good people of Igbope and Igboho in Oorelope Local Government for showing massive love to our governor and his entourage. This turnout is indicative of the fact that the APC does not exist in this area.
“Our people have decided to move forward to Omituntun 2.0, knowing that it will be their turn to celebrate greater achievements than the ones already witnessed under Omituntun 1.0.”
